In collaboration with the Secondary School of Glassmaking and Applied Arts, Železný Brod, we launched the Junior Designer of Lovely Crystal project in September 2023. The long-term goal of this initiative is to connect students with real-world production, introduce them to the everyday operations of a company, share experience, and inspire them to continue learning. In doing so, we aim to support the next generation and help preserve and develop the glassmaking tradition.
The theme of the first year, “Scent Boxes with a Story,” inspired dozens of students to create a wide variety of original designs.
Under the guidance of a professional jury, all design proposals and visualizations have now been carefully reviewed. Evaluating so many beautiful and creative ideas was not an easy task. However, we can now look forward to seeing these designs come to life as unique glass pieces crafted by the students themselves.
