Since 2007, the Silver Medals of the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic have been awarded to outstanding individuals – scientists, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and other public figures – who excel in their fields or are recognized for exceptional actions and achievements.
We were honoured to be invited to design and produce the medal stands, which were included in this prestigious award for the very first time.
The crystal stand is made of hand-cut components from special types of coloured glass, assembled in a precise sequence. The final cutting and polishing create a unique form with detailed precision to perfectly support the silver medal. Each piece is a true original, thanks to the unique surface patterns of the coloured crystal glass forming the Czech tricolour. Each stand also includes personalized decorative elements that reflect the identity of the honoured recipient.
It is a great honour for us that the work of our glass studio has reached the hands of seventeen remarkable personalities, whose actions and achievements are truly admirable.
