These elements are immensely motivating, yet we also know how demanding it can be to keep pace with them. This year reflects a stage of life that boldly moves forward without fear of obstacles and emphasizes constant motion rather than standing still. Let us remember that a horse does not fear slowness, but stillness.
We wish all our friends and partners in Southeast Asia – in China, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar – as well as all of us in Europe, that this swifter tempo may lead us toward shared flourishing and inner fulfillment. At a time when we feel a stronger need to achieve, let us also wish for the wisdom to remain in touch with the limits of our own bodies and the reserves of our energy.
