At the request of the Czech Ambassador to the USA H.E. Hynek Kmoníček and his wife Indira Gumarová, we created a special glass award. The task was to create an award that expresses the combination of diplomacy and fashion and will be an appreciation of important women in diplomacy.
The first "Diplomacy & Fashion" award was presented to Madeleine K. Albright. She was historically the first woman to hold the office of head of US diplomacy, preceded by the position of US ambassador to the UN. However, she was mainly a Czech patriot.
